1911 DWM Imperial German P.08 Luger — Regimentally Marked — All Matching with Matching Magazine, Holster and Tool Offered is an exceptionally interesting Imperial German military P.08 Luger manufactured by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) and dated 1911. The pistol is chambered in 9mm Luger and bears the distinctive intertwined DWM monogram on the forward toggle link. The pistol is serial number 8329. All numbered components are reported matching, with the complete serial number appearing in the principal locations and the appropriate abbreviated “29” markings visible on smaller fitted components. Significantly, the nickel-plated, wood-bottom magazine is also numbered 8329, making it a matching-numbered magazine rather than a later replacement. The front grip strap is marked: 122.R.11.4. This Imperial German unit designation is understood to identify the 122nd Infantry Regiment, 11th Company, weapon number 4. The regimental marking gives the pistol a direct military-unit association and adds considerably to its historical and collector interest. The holster remains substantially complete but shows pronounced age and service wear, including finish loss, scuffing, edge deterioration, worn leather, weakened areas and deteriorated stitching.
